I walk ten minutes to work and drive about 5,000 miles a year, so the carputer isn't a huge priority for me. Interested in the technology though - maybe I'll put one together eventually.

I head up the computer systems / IT department. I also dable in Digital Video.

I work for an Event Production Company. We do Sound, Lighting, Staging, Plasma , LCD displays Video Projection for Corporate meeting, sales presentations , product demos, trade shows, that sort of thing.

I go out on most of the shows and do video stuff.

Im a Mechanical Engineer for a Power Plant Design Firm in Chicago. I geuss that makes me and Linus .... enemies

Avionics Technician in the United States Coast Guard. Stationed in Miami FL.

I get to fly very often in a helicopter and search for people in distress. Run drug runners away from our shores. Protect the shore lines from anything illegal.

I was until a few weeks ago a Cable Modem Field Tech for a local broadband provider. Aver. 10-30 Hours OT and when on call I usually for 40+ hours OT

Now i am sys admin for the same broadband provider. 3 offices (40ish computer) and also assist in the 'headend' where everything that deals with cable TV/cable modems runs thru. This new jobs also consists of being on call 27/7 365 days a year

and smoke a lot of crack because of it!

wish i had teachers that smoked crack and loved strippers when i was in elementery
