That is tough to repair yourself,, give one of those paintless dent remover's a call, they can usually get dents like that out pretty good, I don't know about removing the scratches, maybe a detailing shop?Originally Posted by tejesh83
My car survived the strong winds of Isabel, but I woke up yesterday morning to find a quarter size dent on the driver side door. It looks like a rock hit it, possibly from my neighbors lawn mower. There are a few deep nicks in the paint inside of the dent and a few scratches under it probably from the fall. I tried to look past it, but it really bothers me.
It looks like I can pop the dent out with the ding king(does this really work) or similar dent pullers. The paint touch up may be a bit trickier. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the smooth polished finish.
Has anyone attempted this repair in the past, and if so what would you suggest?
Or, where should I take it for repair and approximately how much will it cost? Should I take it to the dealer for repair?
Thanks for the help.

Thanks.
Do you know how much it will cost for paintless dent removal? I don't want to get ripped off.
It should be around 100 bucks. Don't take it to a dealer for that. They will send your car to PDR and charge for twice as much. Same thing with painting the car. Never take the car to dealer or maaco for paint.

If it's stuck, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway
