Alot of tint shops here dont have set prices so if you go in there and act like you dont know anything about tint they can jack the price up alittle

I shopped around, and paid $125 for it (shops in my area ranged from $115 up to $200), and it was well worth it. I attempted to tint my own windows once in a previous car, and it turned out horrible. I highly recommend you bring it to a shop.

    Subaru SVX.

I used to have 3. I now have the bordeaux pearl only. In the market for another one. Wanna hear something expensive? The front windshield on the SVX costs 900+ bucks and you have to wait about a week and half.

If it's stuck, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway

I have paid aprox 400 usd for 3M prof. tint for a small mpv(in Denmark, Europe). Only problem i have is that i scratched them a few times because the car has been used to move furnitures and other goods as well. They are still nice, sharp and dark after allmost 4 years.

If you want to tint windows yourself, the trick is to use a light mix of water and dishwashing soap. This will ease the process of setting the pieces of ting just right and allow you to squesse out all the air bobles.

However if you are not sure how to do this, then dont, the odds of succes arent that good, and it will be very obvious that you have failed. The main problem is the air bobles but getting the right fit as well.

One other thing, try another car with tinted windows at night, its very hard to see things like bikes when making a right turn, because theres so little light coming tru the windows. So be aware of how dark the tint is.

See, you all have straight windows. I have windows with compound curves.

i doesnt matter. instead of one piece per window they'll use two. Still shouldnt be more than $200 for quality work and tint.
Here, in Los Angeles, tint prices range from $65 to $200. And if you choose the $200 tint, they'll do some excellent work plus the kind of tint that you can you windex on (others will fade away, at least that's what i was told)
