Thread: HTPC's are getting to easy.

I doubt if they will ever really take off(I HOPE). people much prefer the put it in and it plays approach.

You have that put in and play if you have XPe running on the system. I think it will not take off anytime soon but in a couple of years, people will have those rather than DVD player or such. I myself have a HTPC and I can tell you that I am happier with that compare to swapping out DVD drives or video tapes. And they are real quiet. I have a C3 900 with a huge heat sink and at about 10w of power, they don't need fans and are amazing.

I love the case.

don't get me wrong, I love the case, but i just don't like the idea of the masses having it, maybee im just greedy. I like computers being in everything a "geek" only concept. I know it will happen, but i would like to hold it off as long as possible.
