    Why I was so busy. Pictures !

    Just finished building this for a co-worker.

    as someone that has a ton of decking in his backyard i can appreciate the hard work you did. in la how deep do you have to dig the posts? up here in mass i have to go at least 4'--sucks! only one thing...i don't know how the pressure trested wood dries out down there but if i did that up here the spaces would almost double in size by next summer. how do i know that? my first deck is spaced out farther than the additions i did to it! lol

    again--great job and design

    I used deck blocks, only a couple of the posts are buried, I go about 2.5' to 3'.
    The frost line here is like 10" or less so you don't have to go deep.

    It's pretty humid here, the spacing now is 1/4 inch, it looks larger because of the
    bevel on the boards, I expect it to get to about 3/8 before it stops but it might
    get to 1/2"
