i think the best solution is just to give high quality files with no DRM in them for a good price. If its priced right people will pay to get just what they want since they know its gonna be good quality. I don't know how many of my friends house's I go to and they are playing like 92k/bs mp3s they got off kazaa thinking there's nothing wrong. Grant that most rates on kazaa are around 128 but I think that still sucks.

Anybody considered Apple's Itunes music store when it becomes available? I know their big thing is high quality, and I think that once you buy a song, it's yours.(Not sure about that). As a good friend of mine said, it's like bottled water. You can get it for free without the bottle, but people insist on paying 5 bucks for their evian. Just something to think about.

No, it still has encryption and **** on it, and it's not an MP3, it's another format (I can't remember what one). I think it is good quality, one of my friends has a Mac (G5!! It's NICE, this comeing from a [H]ardcore i386/Linux guy..) and says it sounds as good as my 192Kbps songs..
