Noodles thats normally true in jeeps and thats because of how high up off the ground they are which gives them worse handling. AWD on cars gives much better handling.

As far that goes though I can notice huge differences in icy conditions when driving my dad's awd Infinity QX4. It's much better at handling the roads then my old maxima was or my current celica.

As for the Z aye it's not much faster then a stock WRX. The upgrades for it can make it very nice there is one guy over at everything350z.com who is NA who has beaten m3's now. Of course he spent a good deal on bolt ons. However throw on the ATI procharger and he should be hitting low 13's maybe high 12's.

The twinturbo your talking about has shown that you can hit low 12's in a Z. Though it's expensive still a big thing for cars for me is looks and the Z looks amazing compared to EVO and STI.

It is an very very fast car.

Please dont say that man, Im sure alot of poeple here know what is a fast car. We know its a fast car as well as a good car. I seen lotus 7 replicas many many times trash scoobs and evos in no time, and most poeple dont even see lotus 7 as a fast car.

A very very fast car is sub 3secs on 0-60 and 200+MPH.

I agree scoob are cheaper than evos, thats probably why theres more of them on the road, in UK that is.

    Peace poeple

Sorry to go off-topic, but... Mike00, AWD may not be as useful as you think. I know some people with AWD cars and they say there's practically no difference...
    :|

what is that supposed to mean? that the combined claims of all automakers and all automotive media means nothing compared to some people you know who say that theres practically no difference? I guess thats why rally cars are awd, just for fun.

Have you ever been in a car with awd, and had someone launch it? In the first month I had my wrx I launched it so fast that my hands literally were pulled off my steering wheel and my head snapped back, because I wasnt expecting THAT much acceleration. You can't launch that fast in either rwd or fwd. That is a bad example because the advantages of an awd launch don't compare to the advantages in racing... but whatever.

Thats not exactly true, did they really push the car hard to its limit? then im sure you get a different story.

ricky, sub 3 seconds? that is more like sickeningly fast! :0

I say my wrx is a very very fast car because sometimes it's so fast I can't react fast enough to keep up with it. I'll be driving around a canyon in 3rd gear and push half an inch down on the gas and watch my friend in the passenger seat gasp and brace himself back in his seat coz the car just leaps forward. It's fast and I'm still learning how to drive it well. It's easy to hop in and just drive it too.

From what I understand VW isn't the Honduh of Europe, Peugeot (sp?) and Renault are. Any Euro members here?
From a performance point of view I'd go Evo, however NONE (all of 6) of the EVO owners I've spoken with have been happy with the reliability of the car and apparently the warranty sucks, because they have ALL had to pay for repairs before 3000 miles came up. It may just be a bad sample (all cars were at the track) but it doesn't look promising.

Honda's real "image" is your every day economy car. Thats why when they brough the integra and other models to the US they wanted to project a higher level of quality so they made "Acura" just the same as Toyota did with Lexus and Nissan with Infinity. They were all seen as low end makes so they made higher end "brands"
