    -a flick of the high beams does the trick for me.

    -this light mimics a strobe light i suppose.since traffic lights have photoelectric cells that respond to firetrucks/ambulance lights. i remember there were plans for a box with this capability.

    this thing would sell.

    Haha...I can already do this. I have a set of police strobes/ir setup in my headlamps.

    Sounds like fun... Isnt it used w/ infrared... So you could set one of these up and no one would even be able to tell you are using it... (infrared is invisable to the naked eye)

    Someone has to make some infrared LEDs...

    I/R LED's are pretty common. do a search for them.

    I never could get this to work in my town. We may/ may not have the equipment in our area but I never could make it work with a strobe light + IR filter. Also may have been the IR filter or out of range for my strobe.

    I know in mississippi we do not have this system me and my brother in law tried it a few times... but we do have those pressure plates and those can be fun at night

    Flashing your high beams dont work buddy.

    actually, today driving home from school, i saw a police officer driving down the shoulder without his lights on, just a single strobe that set on top of the light bar.
