oh that sucks, dont you have cable? If so, then it is extremely slow. I have 256/128 adsl and it was rated at 232kbps on there.
Should be 600/128kbps![]()

Been sitting at this speed for weeks, not bothered to keep calling them, they never solve it. Getting ADSL in a couple of week's time, but dayum it sucks downloading at 9k/sec when I should be getting 70k/sec

at least you aren't like me ... 3M/128k ... my downloading rocks but if i want to upload something i can just forget about it.
kinda sucks considering I do a lot of web dev (meaning uploading a lot of stuff to web servers)
confused, This is not a suggestion but only sharing my experience. When I got my cable router (not cable modem cuz cable doesnt modulate demodulate) I used a bad *** realtek NIC that my bro gave me from his work. I installed it and my suppose 3M was doing 128K-384K down. Upload topped at 384K which was normal. I called Warner dozens of times. They came out, tested the line over and over, switched out coax cable twice. Finally they said that that's the max speed for this house, live with it or return everything. I told them ill keep it for another week and if I dont like it ill return it. Then I took out the nic card and installed one of their free cheap *** 10M nic card and bam I was downloading at 3M-5M. The pages loaded instantly.
