    plant the tree outside and have a webcam take a pic every hour and place the screen where the tree used to be, problem solved.

    Actually you could just do it all on line just have a web cam of somebody else's tree. Completely hassle free tree.

    Now I get it...dont you think thats a strange solution.

    Someone might as well setup a virtual xmas tree on the web. www.design-a-tree.com site perhaps
