I didn't predict Portugal anything. Even I can't deny that Portugal have gotten this far. In fact, I couldn't be happier if Portugal lost the final! (No disrespect to Portugese here...)

Thank you guys, since having the referees carrying us thru the competition maybe not be enough, we need all the motivation you can give us.

Well, now, isn't this going to be interesting: Portugal vs. Greece, or as they say Portugal's revenge.
Greece is in the final, in its third presence to a final tournament, but for the first time showing quality football as a team, after the prevoius two disastrous appearences. I feel bad for Nedved and the company, becouse they played in a constant manner, but, hey, that's football.

No, I think the team should be the same like last matches(except for Pauleta, Nuno Gomes its at better shape), but has u should know, all team wins, not only the 11 that start a match.

What I was saying is that that generation of great players deserve the cup for all they did for Portuguese football and not only this Euro

For those that are saying that Greece beat us once and going to beat us again: In first match Portugal Underestimate Greece, they were a bit arrogante thinking that shirts win a match, but since that game team mentality changed, and I think that if Greek football wins (very defensive and NON espectacular, almost "anti-game") it will be a lost for what football should be.
But in another hand thats impossible, because NO WAY THE GREEKS ARE GOING TO BEAT US!!!!!!!

We played the most attractive fooftball, scored the most beautyfull goals , played against the powerfull teams, always with great team spirit....We are alredy champions.I hope to win in the final but as we know football is full of suprises and unpredictable situations and not always the best team wins....
People in this forum ,mainly uk fans keep saying Portugal is being helped by the refere, but we have beaten England in Euro 2000 in a fantastic game and have beaten them again in Euro 2004 in another fantastic game ( the most emotional game of the Euro ). and we have proven that we know how to play and how to overcome dificult situations....
As for greece they dont play the most atractive football but they shure know how to defend and they are a worthy opponent, but i realy think it was unfair for the Czechs they played great football and deserved to be in the final.
Greece has won the first game but i think Portugal will win this time , i dont talk about revenge because its just a game....Lets wait till sunday.

Well the Cup is what counts. This is not a beauty contest and it will take Europe some time to realise Otto's (gr coach) football school. Some of you called it "anti-game" some others "not atractive". So be it. It works and that is what counts.
A piece of advice to our friends in Portugal. Keep thinking that you are the best and the game on Sunday will be a walk in the park. We want to be the outsiders. Keeps us on earth and our minds on how to beat you and not on how to please the media or play "atractive" football.
