If someone asks one of the overly asked question, (tank circuit, laptop LCD screen, how many watts etc....) I usually just ignore it. Almost always someone will get there question answered, but usually they do have to filter through a search-monger or two in their thread.
Every once in a while I will even answer their questions. I also noticed that people with 150 or less posts usually answer these questions for the people, but meanwhile the people with 300+ posts usually just start in with the "YOU BASTARD DIDN'T SEARCH, ARRGHHHH AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! ".,,, ok, so that's a little overdramatic, but that's is how it feels for the newbie asking the question.
anyways, enough of my ramblings, and I finally got that damn "SEARCH" thing off my chest. JUST ignore the frequently asked questions and let someone else answer it for them

And to the dude using the stick: what? You don't at least offer them a bite BEFORE beating the holy hell out of them? I imagine the reply would look a little like this:
"To answer your question about how to build an mp3 car, you first need a car, and then you need a computer. I know everything there is to know about the subject. SO here's what else you need to...
Ok so im a newbie... right. well ill tell ya this, if someone stupid like myself didnt start something simple it would never build to be complex with out the help of other things(people) simple. Ya know we cant start from the top and understand it. well most people cant. and even those at the top ask simple questions. so guess what ima do for now. :OP duh...
You have to understand though, that it's difficult for people who have climbed that hill to go all the way back and carry others up that same path, instead of those others simply watching how the pioneers did it and deriving their own path from that. The thing is, what's the point of someone putting an idea out there for everyone else, if all that's going to happen is they get bogged down with people wanting to have it done for them too? It becomes so bothersome that no further progress can be made.Originally Posted by jjh221
This messageboard lays down the tracks for others to follow. Most n00bs need help, I understand that, but for someone who has no clue about how to even build a computer in the first place, then to come here attempting to learn it? That's a little absurd. Most of the people here have already built enough machines to be bored with it, and are now moving on to find cool ways to use that stuff. I know that's what inspired me to start thinking about a mobile computer. If people are new to the world of computer hardware to begin with, they should learn about that before trying to jump right in and setup a carpc, or else some serious heartache will ensue for the poor n00b in question.
The way I see it, one should not attempt to build a carPC if one does not first know how to build (or operate) a home PC. Talk about a driving distraction!!
im followin... slowly , hey im a slow learner.
Well, it depends on what you specialize in. I know lawyers that could run rings around me in court, but still call me to get some help opening their email, and I don't even work for them anymore!Originally Posted by jjh221
I'm more than happy to lend a hand whenever I can, so feel free to PM me any old time. Just don't ask something broad like "how do I build a carPC?" please! Heheheh...
yeah man i make pottery, i like comuters i just seem to break more than i make and pluse this (www.mp3car.com) is an awesome site. you dont just learn about makin pc's there is a lot more than to the hardware. cool ill ask, what i have grown to learn, about what i cant figure out, by what i have already learned. thanks man...
