Here's an example of what I love about dual monitors:

Doing a Google search, I first open Google and move it to the left monitor. I have Google preferences set to "Open links in a new window". I click a site in the Google search, and it opens in a new window on my right monitor. When I'm done with that site, my Google search is still there on my left monitor. Don't have to minimize or switch to another window. I just click on a different site in my Google search, and it opens in the same wiindow that is on my right monitor.

Here is a screenshot of my PC, scaled down 25%.

It's been OK, I guess. It's worth what I paid for it, anyway.

It has a small problem of "screeching like a banshee" if resolution and refresh rates are real low (like at boot). It doesn't do it everytime. If the monitor is hot, and I reboot the computer, it often buzzes a bit. Occasionally, it does the screaming like a banshee thing. It's somewhat annoying, but I'd consider buying another KDS anyway.

    Say hello to my children...

I have 1 G-Force 4200 ti with dual outputs and 1 GeForce 2 Pci card to run them and of course UltraMon for help controlling them. The three displays are Dell 18" Ultrasharps with all the dell coupons I had I was able to get all 3 for $1200. I got them with the money from an insurance payment I recieved after some lady in a minivan put a big dent in my flames on carputer v1.0 and got me $1000 for a dented front fender. How you could miss bright yellow flames when I was parked in a lot is beyond me... I am, however, greatly consoled by the 3 feet of digital beauty in front of me.

God of CPU, have you tried any surround gaming on that rig? I'm curious what performance hit you get with that third monitor...

Every time I've tried to get games to work with it, its been too much trouble and I give up, grrrr. Few games that I have tried have good support yet for multiple monitors and the pci vid card slows down the game tremedously when I tray spanning with extra wide resolutions. The only thing I had resonable success with was serious sam running on two monitors, but that just showed some data on one and the game on the other. I mostly use the monitors for coding having help on one screen, a cpp file on another and the .h for it on the third, there also real good at web surfing.
