Lazarus, how did you get those Keycorps running on a regular vid card? I have one, but as far as I know it only runs on it's own special graphics card (which is 2MB and slow as molasses).

    Hahaha!!

That looks pretty pimped too, but I'm left scratching my head, wondering just how in the heck you are able to do all of that at once!
It's my practice that if you are hooking up multiple screens, they should be able to work in concert with each other. In other words, it's pretty pointless to attempt to watch two movies/TV/videos at the same time. However, in my mind, you have the right idea to have a separate pc/monitor to do movie rips etc so that you can keep tabs on it without worrying about it taking up your primary machine's capabilities. That's why I'm working on building a Beowulf cluster using a set of 7 Dell Optiplex GXa desktop machines. It's a pain, but if I can make it work, I will have one heck of a powerful machine using individual old boxes.

    Keep on crankin....

Look at a program called Ultramon: http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/

And after seeing that 9X Media site a year or so ago, I got to thinking the way only a CarPC person could think.

A 15" LCD can be had for like $250 these days. Buy 4 of them. Remove them from their cases. Make your own rack to hold the 4 LCDs in a square. Mount the LCDs in your custom rack. I figure all you'd really need is some spare metal.. just measure it out, lay the LCDs out with their control boards so that they're as close to each other as possible, drill the holes, and tighten them in.

Of course, you'd need 4 VGA outputs, but those are common enough. You can get that from 2-3 cards, depending on how many of them have Dualhead.

I have 4 monitors on my main setup, 2 lcd's and 2 crt's. I'll never go back to single monitor computing again. I needed 2 video cards. My main one is a gf4 4200 which is dual head and my second is an ati radieon 7000 which is also dual head. Now if I could only get linux to work properly on this setup I'd be happy.

Too bad I only have one game (Flight Simulator 2002) that can use multiple monitors. In that game you can put GPS, maps, throttle controls, and radio windows on the other monitors.

Anybody know of other games for multi-monitor?

    Check this out:

    Wideview for M$FS

You need a separate PC for each monitor that shows an outside view. So you'd need 5 PCs to do the 5 views you see in the link. Pretty cool though.
