12 month free subscription no credit card

Dont know how long it will be good for, but it is a free 12 month 22 issue subscription to PC magazine, no credit card info taken at all, just put in your addy and a fake email address.

I love how this thing's already worded as if I had actually signed up for something before. I wonder if they realize their stuff can be linked to direct like that?

Then again, maybe it's reverse psychology. Sure, it's a free subscription, and sure, you feel SO h4x0r-ish because you're "getting in on something" that "wasn't meant for YOU", but what IF they just wanted you to believe that so they could build a large enough email addy database to make it a tasty sale to some vendor?

In that case, I say we ALL sign up with those wonderful, anonymous, disposable Hotmail addresses! What a great way to practice some healthy passive aggression/revenge! Of course, it would be more fun to see what goes down when MagazineCity sells someone a list full of bum addresses...

Oh, and I know what their "privacy statement" up front says, but you probably wouldn't be surprised to see a little sumpin sumpin in the fine print that negates it...

I dont know...most everything I get is in paperless so I rarely check the mailbox

Oddly enough I get a letter from AT+T every month saying that I am signed up for a paperless statement, and that it is available now. How is that paperless? Grrr. Ok, enough ranting. If you want free magazines, sign up and take the risk with me

That's why I suggest setting up a quick and dirty (and oh so FREE) Hotmail addy just for this purpose!

You could just make up one....they dont ask you to reply or anything. I set mine up using a junk mail only addy, and all they sent me was a confirmation with no reply needed.
