lol, how true that is. I guess people who like to tinker will tinker with anything, be it cars, computers, electronics, whatever. Though I think some people tend to forget that the majority of the population does not care for it so it wouldn't affect them either way.

that's quite simple. get the haynes/chilton's manual for the car, get the pinout for the electrical, and pull the fuse for the check engine light.

i already did that for the door ajar light on my camry. (stupid accident now keeps door ajar light on all the time)
