My package took a drive by my house today. It was just scopin' things out, though. It's going to take the weekend to see the sights. It'll be here on Monday.

I think FedEx has some kind of stupid 48 hour minimum delivery for Express Saver. They won't deliver it early because they want people to buy priority or whatever.
for me is better fedex than ups... ups never rings my bell, i usually have to wait 3 or 4 days ofter for me to get my deliveries to get to my hand with ups... and fedex the only reason for me not to get it is if am' not home at all, but than again the fedex pickup office is only 7 minute drive...plus they always come at the time they say...
but that's me! and my $0.02
you could call up ur local fedex office and probably pick it up mine is open on saturday. so you might get lucky and be able to pick it up.

yes I agree, fedex is really **** and no much of responsiblity here in Michigan. I am from lansing, MI.
Bad experience last week, order a lcd screen and arrive... Fedex guy knock on my door 2 times and I was going to open the door right after I wear my clothes and I shout "wait, coming". It is just like a minutes time, I open the door, my package is on the floor outside and kid is standing next to it. Then the kid told me "sorry, I thought you don't want this that you throw it outside" and he ran away.
I am so angry because only one minutes and the fedex guy disapper and the kid right next to it. If a few more second, my package is gone...........
