Ok, those make sense, except for this last one.

Maybe someone from one of those crappy Fast and the Furious movies will become governor of California and repeal those laws.

At least in Washington you can do what ever the **** you want with the lighting when you're in a parking lot.

I gotta agree with Wizard PC here. Nothing makes you look like a bigger idiot then LED's on your windsheld wiper sprayers. I don't think you should have gotten ticketed, but lights on the top of your hood look dumb, IMHO. Every time I see a car with them I want to ram it.

i think i ve heard rumors that they (wiper lights) add 10kw at the wheels, and if its an excel it almost doubles the power, even though the lights still only add 10kw :P

But they also add weight to the car. I've heard you can get similar results by adding some Type-R stickers and they baerly weigh anything, much better imo.

haha, I do have a question, what kind of car do you drive, that has all the world to do with if youll get pulled over. if you got crazy lights on a civic, cavaleir or neon, your toast. now if your drivin a S2k or 350Z or something a bit higherup, they generally give a little more leeway.

with that said, almost any aftermarket lighting is illegal if a cop says it is. put a single decal, I mean a damn bumper sticker on your car and he can pull you over. they have huge discresion in those cases, of course a bumper sticker wouldnt hold up in court, but he generally got what he wanted anyway, took up all your time.

you should have known they were illegal, and not act suprised when they pull you over.

I drive a stock civic. The only sticker I have is of Tux, the linux penguin, because he's bad *** and my girlfriend thinks he's cute. I have the lights because I needed to replace my mirrors and the mirrors with LEDs had more bad *** to them for the buck. A lot of cars look bad with the extra lighting, but most of the people who see it will tell you they look nice.
