Hello, first of all i want to say thanks for a good forum.
Now when the time has come for my project to begin I registered.
yesterday i ordered a Lilliput that will be the face for my carputer and tha hardware is my old HP omnibook 6100 since the monitor gave up.
My car: Volvo 240 GLE -84
And heres where the monitor will go.
The goals
*mp3player
*gpsnavigation
*wlan for wardriving and move music from my homenetwork

i think laptop is the best way since its small, the power aint that big issue and you got batteri so when you stop for half an hour somwhere the carputer if still working wont drain from the car.Nice to see more Swedish members, I got the very same model of the heater in my car too
the negative side is the prise for a laptop, but the otherhand you can get it for nice prise if you find someone selling with brooken screen
