Yes, the hardware is supposed to be great....I dont know about the software, Lola. Well see. But hey, its free

I looked over the X10 site and found the same setup sells usually for about $100 thru them, so for the $6 it cant be all that bad. Resell it on eBay if it sucks.

Supposedly the remote and reciever are 2.4ghz, should be great for the car or house.

Isn't X10 the same company who used to bombard the net with pop-ups/unders for some stupid web cam? If it is the same company aren't you guys affraid to give them your CC# including card security number?

And yes that is the same company with the pop ups as well as the one that filed Chapter 11 not oo long ago as well.

Why would popups make me afraid to purchase their products? That's what companies do -- they advertise (albeit in an irritating fashion).

I have zero liability with my card. If there are unauthorized charges, I simply cancel it and get a new one. X10 has been around a long time. I doubt they're going to delve into credit card fraud all the sudden.

Got mine ordered. $6.52, for some reason I had to pay WSST.

I have a bank account I only use for online transactions and only keep a few dollars in it.
