    Need Help With Automotive Paint

    Here's the story....

I'm in the process of modding an XBox to put in the trunk of my brother's 4th Gen Honda Prelude. This is the progress so far:

I painted the case blue, but have now decided it would be pretty cool to color match the blue to the color of his car. He recently had part his car repainted after a tow truck ran into his car in the parking lot, so he has a bottle of (azure blue pearl??) paint that was mixed for his car. How hard would it be to use this paint on the XBox case and what would I need as far as tools/supplies to accomplish this?

Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

you will need an air compressor, a paint gun, some paint thinner, primer, sand paper and a dust free environment.

I have access to an air compressor, paint gun, the mixed paint from the body shop, lots of sand paper and a reasonably dust free environment.
Is there a specific type of primer that needs to be used with the paint?

well insince its plastic I would probably get a primer meant for plastic so the paint can adhere better to it.

http://www.autobodypro.com/tektips/a...lastic_sec.htm I used this for painting the plastic bumpers on my car. You should be able to find it locally at pep boys.
