Frodo, as far as amount is concerned, doesn't "those that understand binary" and "those that do not" = two types? There are 10 types of people in this world, those that understand binary, and those that don't.
Sorry, this has annoyed me for some time, noticing it in your sig...

hahahahaha........ you dont get it do you....10 in binary = 2 in decimal.....
His sig is put there to confuse people like you. And besides even if it didn't make cents what right do you ( a complete noobie) have to ask one of the eldest here to change what he has in his sig...
I am sure that my signature annoys some people.... get over it
Binary is as follows
128-64-32-16-8-4-2-1
Above is place holders. 1 is on and 0 is off. For instance
The binary number
0-0-0-0-0-0-1-0 is equal to the decimal number 2 (minus the dashes of course)
The binary number
1-0-0-0-0-1-1-1 is equal to the decimal number 135
And you usually knock of the zeros in front. So froddo sig is technicallyNow you can count yourself in the type of people that understand binaryThere are 00000010 types of people in this world, those that understand binary, and those that don't.![]()

I'm not sure if he still fully understands binary yet. From your example he only know what 2 and 135 is. So technically he's still in the group that doesn't understand binary.Originally Posted by antimatter

"Duh, when did microsoft come out with that version of windows?"
I know there'd be alot of people really confused, I'd be there for sure probably gettnig my calc out to add.
