    no, it was quite clearly stated in star trek that the first number of the course plotting parameters denotes what direction in a 360 degree circle surrounding the ship laterally. the number after "mark" denotes what direction up or down from that first number.

    guys, do you realize we have computers calculating relative points in space right now that work HOURS to days to figure where we were when they started the calculation?

    stellar positioning system my *** :P the computer would be about 6000000 terahertz....

    Couldnt you have a central server that stored the maps and all you sent it where your coordinates and then it told where u were? i kno your wiFi would have to reach pretty far, guess you would have to make a masssssive attenna
