hah hah hah... you are hilarious man...
What about a jetta? You can bolt the crap outta those smaller 1.8 turbo engines, and chip them too for an instant HP gain.
It is looking like I might be moving to Nashville in a month or two and I need a new car. Starkville (where i live now) does not have emission testing, but nashville does. My saturn probably won't pass the emissions test because my OBD computer is reporting that I don't have any O2 sensors, and the mechanics can't figure it out--probably something to do with the fact that it has a new engine.
Anyway, my license plate expires in september and I won't be able to get a new one with my old car. So, I need a new car.
Any suggestions for a sleeper? I need a NEW car, so no "1988 oldsmobile yadda yadda" posts
Bolt-ons, Bolt-ons, and more bolt-ons is what I'm lookin for. I WILL NOT be putting a huge gay wing or body kit on whatever car i get. I just want to smoke those kids who do have a huge gay wing or body kit
I'd love to get the new Saturn ION Redline or a Nissan Sentra Spec-V, but they are too different from the normal versions for them to be sleepers. I want a car that LOOKS slow but GOES fast.
Thanks

What about a Mazdaspeed Protege w/ the wing removed? Or I think there might be a turboed Protege5 for sale in FL. 4 door Subaru Impreza RS? The new Volvo S40 R or T5? Or you could get a Scion xB and toss a supercharger in it.![]()
Nissan maxima's are really good sleeper cars. There pretty decent to begin with and there is a crap load of bolt-on stuff of them. They have both supercharger and turbo kits for them. Plus they come with a really good engine to begin with. The 3.0 VQ and the 3.5 VQ are amazing engines. I've seen a few in the low 10's in the 1/4.

Howabout an Acura RSX with a Jackson Racing supercharger or a S2000 with a JR supercharger.
2007 Honda Fit Sport 1.5L SOHC-VTEC
I hate fords, but then again i hate saturns to- you might consider a v8 taurus.
I would consider a maxima or new altima. they might not be sleeper enough though because of the new body design.
Personally the mazda speed protege would be highest on my list. inexpensive too.
car computer rev 5: 8" lilliput and usual suspects
Ooohh, Maxima before the new body style would be great. But is that too old?
How about a pontiac GTO? They look frighteningly like a Cavalier until they rocket into the distance.
I'm lookin at the mazda site, and I don't see the protege. Do they not make it anymore? I see a mazdaspeed miata, but I refuse to drive a hotwheels car.
The maxima I had been thinking about. That and it's fraternal twin the Infiniti G35 Sedan. They are basically the same car as far as I understand it, and the 6MT versions with Nav only differ in price by $800. Will stuff for a maxima fit on a G35?
The other thing is that the Maxima lists 265HP while the G35 "only" has 260HP. Don't the 2 cars have the same engine? or am I just imagining that...
My mom is on her second Infiniti and the reason she bought the second one was because of the great service the dealership gave her when she had the first one.
Oh, and in case it isnt apparent by now, if I move to nashville its because I got a REALLY good job. More in the first year than I've made in the last 6yrs combined![]()
