Hey, are you taking attacking my personal beliefs

Im not attacking his beliefs, each to their own, I was trying to point out that breaking up with a girlfriend isn't anything to do with god, lets say, for arguments sake I buy the whole religion thing, aren't people supposed to have free will? Without that, the whole god paradox falls apart, so his ex was exercising her free will right? So where does god come into all this? If antimatter wants to choose god as a means of self medication to help with the pain of breaking up then thats fine, and his own business.

However, the things he said about her not killing herself because god stopped her, thats scary, she needs some serious help...

"God is God and he isn't able to be too preoccupied"

Nice liitle paradox there too? So if god is god why isnt he able to be preoccupied then? Not omnipitent enough See where all these arguments go, right down the proverbial cesspit...

Now as for being impolite, remember the title of this whole little therapy rant?

True... she may need some couniling for contemplating suicide. Well she just lost the best man she ever had [i am really not being conceided]. When she realized this she didn't want to live anymore... i had thoughts about it too(but quickly pushed it out of my mind... i wouldn't have the balls to do it)

so uh, what were we discussing, again?

To bring this up again:

Last night the girl I have been seeing for about 3 weeks called me to tell me that she's getting married to her abusive alcoholic ex boyfriend.

And last weekend, a friend of mine called and asked me to come see her because she had just kicked her boyfriend out. When I got there he was still there, and I slowly came to realize that the only reason she called me was to make him jealous.

I friggin hate women now.

Bah, women AND men do such things.
Maybe, just maybe it's human. (I'm not saying humane!)

I lost my last girlfriend the same way as Antimatter, and I understand his pain (and yours WizardPC), but I have seen men do the very same thing.

If we were to lock all women in a cage for that, we'd have to do that to all men too. Wouldn't that be what the whole apple/garden of eden book was all about?

Just a thought.
