    that one time she and her parents went to mcdonalds, she left the gun in the car because she didnt want to get caught and lose her business which was just beginning to work.

    the criminal came in and killed a great deal of the people in the mcdonalds, and while she was able to run for safety, her mother stayed with her father who had been shot (and she subsequently also got shot). i dont know what happened to the criminal, but i beleive somewhere in the area of 40 people died that day.

    She is now part of the Texas State Assembly, and was one of the biggest proponents of Texas' Right to Carry law. (a law people were saying was gonna really make the murder rate shoot up.. but it dropped)

    Thanks to my generation "everything goes"; people forgot how to say "Thats not right and i won't stand for it!", now they just say "Well its their choice." I don't sit back and let things that are horribly wrong go without letting the wrong doer know. I don't think their is anything at all wrong with that.

    In regards to the proposed amendment banning homosexual marriage, i find it extremely sad that our country has stooped so low that we'd have to make an amendment to the US constitution, which is supposed to protect citizens from the horrors of their own government, which defines who someone may marry

    Fags are looking for something they can't find. Someday they will find it; I just pray it's sooner than later(that goes for all of us). Are they any worse or am i any better than anyone else....No!! I would gladly befriend a brother or sister who was trying to get away from that lifestyle.

    What really gets me about it is that someone bases their entire life on SEX! Thats sad. People are more than just what they do in their bedroom, (looking for something like i said, but they won't find it there)! I have an awsome sex life with my wife whom i love dearly. However; i don't go around saying "I'm a Heterosexual" Do you?

    This country, last i checked, did not legislate on the bible.

    Now honestly, do you really feel we should take the bible word for word?

    The bible is NOT to be taken literally. and there are 2 billion + other people in the world with different interpretations of it than you.(not everybody's related to judaism.. which is the bible i'm referring to) if somehow you think your interpretation is the true correct one, then you have a one in 2 billion chance of getting into heaven. welcome to hell.

    I aggree that basing a whole life around sex would be sad, but luckily most dont base their whole life around sex. they're people, just like you and i. remember that. proportionally, there are probably just as many one night stands and "hookups" in the strait world as the gay world.

    I feel that the bible argues for itself. If anyone actually did any sort of research with an open heart and open mind and seeked the truth they would find the answers in the Gods word (the bible).

    I take it word for word. It has brought depth and dimension into my life. I praise God for our relationship and pray that others too get to know him and look past all of the lies out there.

    Thats all i will say. There was a time that i thought arguing the bibles truth was worth something... I learned that it is my testimony that counts and that the bible doesn't need me to argue for it.

    You would assume that this is true however this is not accurate. The gayworld is very hardcore... and mainly one night stands.

    It wasn't stated to be offensive, and it is sad that her parents, along with the others were killed. But just because she typically carried her handgun does not mean it would have changed anything that happened that day. That is all I was saying. No one can speculate like that, because things could have gone either way. There is just as much of a chance, had she been carrying her gun, that she would have stopped the aggressors as there was a chance she would have been killed along with everyone else by drawing attention to herself with the gun. It's anyones guess, and that cannot be argued.

    Whats the difference there? Besides the idea of spending money on a toy and getting to play with it the same day? Everyone has that feeling, but you'd think they would oppose the background check, and not the amount of time it takes.

    I guess if we broaden the Patriot Act to encompass stuff like firearm purchase we could speed up these background checks becasue the government would have all the information readily availabe... But would just start a whole seperate arugement. haha.

    I'd be thrilled if you could tell me the language that was first written in. Do you realize people thought the Earth was flat when that was written? Do you still think the Earth is flat? No? Maybe they had things wrong then. Either way, it's not your choice, and don't you think G-d will get them in the end anyways if it is?

    The Guns/vs anti-gun debate will be never be settled. What is clear however is that the founding fathers realized that the 2nd amendment was required to protect the 1st and all the rest. Whether it was muskets then or AR-15's now makes no difference (consider that muskets were modern weapons for their time).

    Nobody said that this was to be a Utopia, and those that seek it should look around the world at the alternatives, before deciding that what has worked since this country was founded is wrong. Those who say whatever happens elsewhere would never happen here, had best fast-forward a hundred years and consider a country where nobody but the government is allowed to be armed. To me that sounds like a bad thing, considering the corrupting influence of power and human nature.
