    If it was made in powerpoint it is very easy to do There are many programs that decode power point presentations.

    Heh...I havent messed around with it in a while, but I have been meaning to. My next plan is to remote in from another PC and do a print screen through it. Not sure how it will affect resolution though.

    but someone has just given me a similar file that gives me the same message when I try an alt-print screen.

    however in vista, if you fire up the snipping tool, you can take a capture of the pics quite easily!... though I don't think that the pics in the exe are at full resolution.

    Well these are the man's wedding photos, so I figured he'd still have the disk and besides, I've had a photographer distribute this sort of slideshow to me in 2007 going on 08' so hopefully it will have relevance to someone else -especially if they come across this thread the same way I did... good ol' Google.

    Even though Vista wasn't available in 04' other tools of a similar nature were - this snipping tool is quite a trivial application as you may already know.
