I want to make my own solar lawn lights

Can anyone help me find some info on how to solder the solar cells and what kind of diode I'll need? Some sort of photoelectic sensor to know when to turn on?

I searched for about an hour on the internet, but couldn't find any good diagrams or schematics due to the amount of product available to purchase retail.

Any info would be great!!

Hmm those are interesting finds!

Anyone with solar cell basic how to? Charging the battershould should be somewhat easy, 8 solarcells, a diode and some batteries... Im thinking???
