Air brush it with a nice girlie design in pink.![]()
with a standard pc case. I've bought a used pc for my daughter that I want to paint and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how I could go about doing it. Do I need to sand the case? Also what type of paint should I use? Any other tips and suggestions would help.

If some or most of the case is plastic, I would HIGHLY recommend vinyl dye.
You can get it at most automotive stores. Looks like spray paint, and is usually a little more expensive BUT... it has advantages.
I found an old Dell on the side of the road that was all the generic beige plastic. I bought a can of black vinyl dye. Stripped all the plastic down and went to sprayin...
Less than an hour later it was dry and I was putting the pieces back together on my sweet looking (but VERY slow) new Dell.
If you have metal, then yes, I would sand, primer, paint, sand, paint, gloss, then wax. If you don't want to put TOO much work into it, sand, primer, find some cute stencils, paint, then gloss.
That's what I'm planning on doing. My girl is almost 3 and I'm running behind on building her a PC <g>

Hmmm...airbrush? Any quick info you could let me know about this. I'm 28 and the last time I can remember painting something outside of a wall in a house was in high school. So experience in this dept is quite limited. I've seen airbrushing done on the beach and that's about it so I have 0 experience in that. Thanks for the suggestion.Originally Posted by Enforcer
