this is my third civic i have had. nice cars. i have had no problem with any of them.

The new Civic SI is awful. Get an Acura RSX if you want that kinda car (they're almost the same thing, but RSX is much better).If you get automatic I will hate you. Its a waste of gas, money, and power. That blue civic si is good. I really like the new civic coupes too.

Sticks are all fine an good, back when I didn't have a torn ACL in my left knee and will need surgery in the couple of years again. Plus winter driving blows when driving a stick..I DO live in Minnesota.

In winter? Thats the huge advantage you get in winter from driving sticks. You can control the effect of the engine on the wheels. Automatics can't do that. Not only that, but Front wheel drive vehicles downshift extremely well in slick conditions, so you can slow down a lot better.

whatever you choose, i'm sure you'll be pleased. i've owned 3 cars over the last 12 years, all Hondas, all reaching atleast 200,000 miles. when i sold my first one, it was at 300,000, and still running strong.

my accord in the background. my gf's 90 civic wagon, dropped on H&R Sport/Tokico Illuminas, waiting for a b16.
