Depends on the body kit. Some are shaped very well, so they bolt on just fine. Others take lots of work, cutting and/or shaping. Either way, it will have to be painted. And depending on the age of the car and the quality of the paint, the kit may or may not match well.

Not to offend anyone here, but my personal opinion about civics is pretty low.
They have no HP and no torque. I can smell a Civic burn every time I drive behind it.
I'm not joking, not only do I know their specific smell, but it also doesn't matter which model it is.
My parents own a 4-door civic and it's the slowest car I've ever driven. It has 115 HP (stock) and no torque. None.
It looks good and has a nice interior though. It also makes very sharp turns that is very convenient when parking. The gas mileage on Civics is incredible.
Now, I haven't drove the 2-door ones neither did I drive stick Civics, so I might be wrong.
Either way my Saturn owned every Civic I ever raced, except for that one which was all pimped out and the only thing it had stock was its hood and probably the windshield.
You will impress quite a few girls with your ride, cuz it looks nice, but that's only because girls don't care what's inside it

PS: although my Satty is not stock anymore, so it's probably not fair to compare it to ordinary Civics.

B16 (civic si/sir) Engine = tasty. And as far as the Civics being slow, you could expect that from an automatic civic. But since most cars like it have only a 3 speed auto, its significantly faster. Drive a stick civic and you'll see a difference.

Can't seem to acess those pages from here in the UK, but I say just go for it and get one. Slow one, fast one - up to you - it won't be a **** one. Just don't get an auto
