This is ridiculous!

I have to use a fcuking DOS MP3 player in my car for the next 2 days while I'm downloading myself a normal operating system! I lost my Win98SE CD and now I can't reinstall Windows. I got Win95, but it won't install on a FAT-32 partition

So guess what, in the meantime I decided to download a DOS mp3 player

I'll take pictures when I'm done with it

Don't feel too bad. I'm running some new wires and building a box for the PC and amp. My car interior is gutted and no media at all. I'd have it done much quicker byt I've been really lazy.

you will need a dos sound driver....

My sound card is an older laptop version which was widely popular back in the times of Win 3.11

So yeah, it actually works! I must say, I'm impressed with the audio quality. It's even better than Windows. The only downside is the fact that due to my very long LCD extension, the signal is too weak to display GUIs in 640x480 resolution, so once I launch my MP3s I can't see anything on the screen

But, damn, I didn't expect this quality and speed! There are also DOS programs out there that can play DVDs, MPEGs, AVIs, etc. They say that under DOS even my old P133 will be able to play DVDs!
