USB Server Over A Network ?

    Hi guys.

I am after a way of sharing one USB device over the network in the same way I used to share com ports over the network ( http://www.spartacom.com/ ).

There is a hardware version from Keyspan now ( http://www.gizmodo.com/archives/keys...ork-009662.php ) but thats a little ott and over my price range ).

    Any suggestions ?

    Terran

PS Already running a USB to RJ45 connector how ever where I need to go I am limited by ports therefore I'd like to run via software... uses will be vid cam and web printer via one of my servers which is in another room

Well, you wont get USB 2.0 then. If you wanted to do USB over CAT5/RJ45 cable you can do that, but not over a network. It would be god awfully slow.
