Well, you wont get USB 2.0 then. If you wanted to do USB over CAT5/RJ45 cable you can do that, but not over a network. It would be god awfully slow.
Hi guys.
I am after a way of sharing one USB device over the network in the same way I used to share com ports over the network ( http://www.spartacom.com/ ).
There is a hardware version from Keyspan now ( http://www.gizmodo.com/archives/keys...ork-009662.php ) but thats a little ott and over my price range ).
Any suggestions ?
Terran
PS Already running a USB to RJ45 connector how ever where I need to go I am limited by ports therefore I'd like to run via software... uses will be vid cam and web printer via one of my servers which is in another room![]()
