I agree Brittney does it all the time. I feel bad for Ashley, poor girl. Either she really wants to sing or just using her sisters fame to get her some money. But i must say they are all funny.

I agree! I could care less if they lip sync on tv/music videos. But if I went too one of their concerts and they pulled that crap I be ****ed! Come to think about it snl had a crowd so that makes it a concert which means the no lip sync rule applies!

YEs, singers do it all the time.
However ther are a couple problems I have:
    1) These musical artists are merely talentless hacks that can be mixed & engineered into a hit song. They are simply creations of the music studios & the record companies.
    2) The music-listening public accepts these talentless hacks, and in many cases worships them, perpetuating these talentless hacks in the music industry.

I like live music because it's more free-form. It's a lot easier to get that perfect sound in a studio. It's a whole other ballgame to be able to do it in front of a crowd night after night.
I went to see Cowboy Mouth Saturday night at a local club. You can be damned sure they weren't lip-synching or had any 'backing tracks'. to help them out.

This is why I've never really liked pop music... Too much bull****.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

the funny thing about her is she is a real talentless hack. My gf watched that dumb show on MTV and on like the start of the show it has her in the studio before they "touched" up her voice. She sounded awful. I think she has a voice track playing for all live apperances... there is no way a pop singer can sound just like their album everytime they sing.

    In all honesty... MC Hammer

I remember he was sweatin all over the place, like I do, and was really outta breath when trying to rap.

I also saw Evanescence a while back on Leno and was amazed as to how out of tune she was, I mean REALLY really flat... so I don't see how that couldn't have been anything but real.

Well those artists deserve our cash to go see them live then! Even if they are a little out of tune, people don't go to concerts to hear the exact same songs they listen to on the albums. They go to see their favorite artists in person.
MC Hammer and Evanescence are two artist/groups that rate pretty high in my playlist anyhow, and I would gladly go see them, and enjoy the show, even if they didn't quite hit the notes. The fact that I hear them working themselves to passing out over the speakers means that I'm hearing them live, right now, and not some stupid recorded track.
