has anyone outside of iowa ever heard of 89 or 89.5 octane gas? we blend in something like 10% ethanol to our gas. it boost the octane rating, burns cleaner, helps the economy (were iowa and guess what we use to produce the ethanol ... thats right ... corn) and to boot its not taxed as much here in iowa so 89 is ALWAYS 5-10 cents cheaper than 87. i payed 1.84 for 89.5 yesterday while 87 was 1.90

Walmart sells gas??? $2.139/gallon here (Saugerties, NY), guess I picked the wrong time to buy a truck with an 8cyl. Oh well, I'm only getting 1mpg less than my 6 cyl. Toyota got. Gets expensive filling a 26 gallon tank though

Pretty soon, Your gonna have to install locks on all your Fuel Doors. Siphoning gas off you'r neighbors car wont be that getto when gas hits $3.00 a gallon. Instead of ATM's, People are gonna ram their trucks into Pep Boys and Discounts to steal crates of octane booster.

Cheapest is 1,61 / liter.

I know Ford doesn't like to put locks on their gas tanks. Most other cars have a latch that has to be pulled from inside, but I can't imagine a fuel door is that hard to break into.
