you should go get a nice sheet sometime and throw it up on the wall. someone once told me to go with a grey sheet at you'll get higher contrast and richer blacks ... but i don't know if i want to do it.

do you have your projector ceiling mounted? if so how did you do it? i have a low ceiling here in the basement (6.5') so i had to mount it superflush and tilt it to counteract the 6 deg it projects down ... so i made a custom mount .... I mounted it to a piece of plywood then turned the projector on ... aimed it and while holding it up with my head used some deck screws to attach the plywood directly to the ceiling ... its hella ghetto
That is a pretty slick receiver. I just got an e-mail saying that my receiver is on backorder. That ****es me off. Ok, there's my rant for the day.

I will try to find a white and grey sheet with a fairly decent thread count. Right now I just have my projector on a tv stand projecting onto a white wall. I am planning on finishing a room in the basement, but am running low on fundage at the moment. I was thinking of using a pipe flange and some pipe to mount. I would also like to build a box around the projector to block the light that you can see through the grill and suppress the noise a little bit. I have the same remote as you, so the RF will come in handy for that.

Anyone know where to get the Hauppage PVR-150? It's supposed to be as good as the 250's but half the price...

    Would this work for me?

I want to build a budget HTPC.. I will mainly use it to record shows (not a lot of shows just a couple per week). Then I will want to watch them on my TV. I already have a AGP video card that has S-VIDEO out. Would you recommend I just get a PVR 150 to record the shows and then I'd still be able to watch them since I have that other video card? I'm really not sure how this works...

OK.. I ended up getting a PVR350 and now I'm testing out frontends. Windows MCE2005 wont' freaking work w/ my setup because I guess you need at least a 64MB video card and mine is 32. I'm looking at BeyondTV, Meedio, and SageTV.

Can anyone post some reviews of these or anything better??

    Pros/Cons??

    Thanks!
