I cant see any icons in my systray. I see nothing. Programs are running and should appear there. What should I do?

What OS? Are you running default settings or custom?

Sounds weird , does a reboot not sort it out in anyway?
apart from that are you sure that the programs that are running are those that should appear as icons in the tray? check you registry to see how many applications are set to load on startup aswell

Reboot doesnt help. Im positive things should be in my systray. When I minimize AIM, it should show up in the systray but it doesnt. However it is still running.

well if you have tweak ui installed, there's an option in there somewhere that enables/diables these systray icons. you need a reboot to make it take effect..

if you don't have tweak ui installed, then no clue... did they just suddenly disappear?
