2000 Chevy Silverado 5.3L V-8, I get around 17mpg average. Mostly highway miles since it's 40mi each way to work.

Subaru uses adaptive ECU technology. Unplug your batter yagain and drive conservatively, the ECU will use its weak timing maps wich will help your gas mileage. Like every dyno run in a subaru is different because it learns from the previous dyno run.Originally Posted by kiltjim

When I bought it I was averaging 34mpg
I now average 24mpg with heavy foot driving all the time with intake and exaust and fuel map mods.
