I have some DVD (movie) back-ups I've made. I would like to put them in DVD caes. I don't want to scan them all. Is there a place where can find decent-sized resolution images of the front and back sleeves?
What's the best software to use with this "cdcovers", when I print regularly it prints too big.
EDIT: Doh!, never mind, just found it at the website.
EDIT again: it says: "the free version is unlimited in time and uses it only displays adds while you prepare and print your covers"
guess it's got spyware too?
Anyone got a better idea?
I use XP's built in Photo Printing Wizard and set it to use the full sheet of paper. Works pretty good, except my cheap *** printer won't let me print less than 1/4 inch margin, so my covers come up about an 1/8" short of the originals, not really noticable. I guess I could get some legal size paper but I'm too damn cheap.
1.6GHz HP e-PC, 768MB RAM, 120GB WD HDD, Slim DVD-ROM, Onboard sound & video, 7" Lilliput, USB GPS Mouse, Audiovox FM Modulator, Vector 400 Watt Power Inverter, Windows XP Pro SP2, iGuidance 2, 15" Samsung LCD for the rear *Carputer not installed*
I use photoshop. I set the height to 7.2" and let it adjust the width accordingly. My printer has a 1/4" margin too. I compensate for it by adding a 1/4" of white space infront (right side) of the image. This way I get the full front of the cover and only sacrifice some of the back part. Works out pretty well and after cutting/croping the paper is a perfect fit. Make sure to print landscape. This is for DVD full-size covers, of course.
Nero Burning Rom as a CD/DVD printing bit in it ...... its pretty good too
I use those thin cases that only allow for a cover print.
I have a photoshop file thats a layer of black. I then make another layer with cover ( cut and pasted from 300dpi 72 res resized to xxx high ) then I move it so that the fold line is to the left of the spine image..
If that makes sense ??
this way when it is in the case all the other areas are black.
If these are 'backups', why not just xerox the original cases?
