You can text message (example) Pizza ***** (*=your zip) to 46645 (googl). You will then get a return text message listing pizza places, phone and address in that zip code. Pretty cool, but new. (I think)

I just tried it myself. It sent me 3 addresses/phone #s, 1 I had never heard of & would be on a road I travel daily & the other 2 are accross the hudson river, so not exactly a next door town...

if you google it with a computer you'll get the results closest to the center of your city first, not your area code.
