Well, I could get a cat for next to nothing, but I just can't take care of it. Like I don't want it to chew through my wires in my computer and electracute itself, and then I'd have to feed it and clean up after it, and it would distract me from my workOriginally Posted by Scouse Monkey
I have a dog (see avatar) they are alot of work and the ajustment is huge in the begining , but after a short time you cannot picture how you ever got by with out them.
You don't need to have a partner or even show her or him to us, but it's just to know eachother better then just talk about hardware and stuff ...
Socialasing is how we call it in dutch ...
So definitely no time to play with a cat either then!Originally Posted by 0l33l
Cats are cool. I miss mine as he is living with my mum. At first they are a lot of work, house training etc but then they are pretty self sufficient. Especially if you get two when they are young as they have each other for company (to a degree). Cats are nice on those late night jobs cos they come and keep you company and are quite content lying somewhere warm and don't need constant fussing unless you spoil em and if they are ****ing you off you can just chuck em out. I don't think i have ever heard of a cat chewing through electrical wires as i think they can sense electricity which might be why you never find dead cats on the railway (only dumb dogs). although when mine was a kitten he did pull the ariel wire off my clock radio but i forgave him!
Yeh, no time. How long do they sleep for? I'm not hope usually from 7:30 till 3, so I'd need the cat to do something besides destorying my computer, eating the artic silver I have laying around, or destoying the porcelin I have. I'll take your word that cats don't like electricity Oh, but there would be a problem if the cat got sick (god forbid)... vet costs $$$Originally Posted by Scouse Monkey
