I haven't had any issues with UPS except when i was waiting for my turbo to be shipped it went from southern Mass > Rhode Island > Mass UPS place > Me. But the bastard sent the package UPS ground so I didn't expect immediate delivery but the thing went all over the place, and I could have just picked it up from him (he lived 45 minutes away)

I gotta get that screenshot that my friend sent me, but when he lived in Hawaii (USAF) he had a FedEx package that went from like Oakland to LA, to Hawaii, back to LA, then back to Hawaii before it was delivered.

Racked up more frequent flyer miles than most people...

Just the other day I had something delivered from Carmel (NY) to CT. It went to Carmel to Ohio, then to Jersey, then to CT.

But if their routing system works, who am I to complain?

Now if I could only get that LAST bit where the guy leaves the package at my house, I'll be set.

    Now it says
"Status: In Transit - Rescheduled". Assholes Funny thing is that I don't have the drive at my place anyways, so I just need it to work.
I have a screenshot before that says that it was supposed to arrive today, but I'm pretty sure you guys beleive me

Yeah, I've seen that kind of ridiculous UPS routing in the past, but lately they seem to be getting better at it..

I'm disappointed, it'd be way cooler if they did it when they were moving.

Quite a few shippers assign tracking numbers to shipments and upload the tracking information to their carrier of choice. A time-in-transit is estimated assuming the package will be picked up that day. If the package isn't given to the carrier until the next day or later, the time-in-transit is certainaly affected and the tracking information is updated accordingly.

ugh, i hate the freaking postal service. esp. having to wait in line at the post office!

I personally use FedEx for my ebay selling's shipping. their online system is great, and delivery is predictable. I always perfer to use them at work over UPS. I could tell stories and stories about the crap UPS tries to get away with, but I just woke up. I do over $5million in hardware purchases for the company I work for, so when I want it to be delivered on time, its FedEx. if i don't give a ****, then UPS.
