    XBox games

    I want to backup my XBox games (in case they get damaged) Is this possible?

    I personally use a mod chip to back up my games to harddrive...that and i'm lazy to change the game DVDs.

    there are programs for PCs to read the FATX (xbox format) DVDs. however, they all are shady on legality, so you will have to find yourself via google.

    Edit: depending on how new your Xbox is you may or may not need a modchip. Xbox v1.6+ will need a modchip, whereas you can reflash the onboard BIOS on previous versions.

    why the hell do you need a soldering iron for a softmod? you download a wacky save-hack thingy to a memory card, slap the card in yer controller, hit a few buttons and you're done.
    softmodded xbox, PSOne screen, inverter. simple and effective. Combine with PDA and head unit with aux input, and we're having a wonderful time.
