    Comprehensive Guide to Noobs

    http://www.shawn64.com/mochastorage/cgtn.html

I found it pretty funny. And yet surprisingly accurate.

I suppose that it should be pointed out that a n00b posted this, for whatever that's worth. Not much probably.

N00b behavior isn't necessarily by people who are no to whatever forum. It's by people not reading rules or guidelines set down by the moderator, not reading the forum before adding posts, and generally being obnoxious.
Some n00bs don't do this, yourself included. They are certainly a breath of fresh air.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

I was sure that the irony of my posting this topic would not go unnoticed hence the last comment in my original message.

Couldn't agree more (and thank you) . It was nice that the author differentiated between noob and newb in the guide, although the former tends to be used almost exclusively for both "breeds" in practice.

One common forum practice (which I noticed the mp3car forums does not implement) is a minimum post count for access to Avatars, FS Forums and Custom Text etc. This usually accounts for a vast majority of forum spamming by new users simply trying to get their post count up!

These "me too" posts can often be often more annoying than noob posts IMHO.
