    true, it is all in the details and how you look at it. There will always be that guy who says: "Why would someone put that much money and effort into that car." When it all really comes down to what makes you happy, it does not matter if the car is classified as a sports car or not. There will always be a faster car, a better performing car or whatever.

    That said, I still really miss my rx7, trans-am and 240sx, they were alot more fun to drive.

    i was commuting when i bought it new (3 years ago, time flys) and i wanted something fun but still decent on gas. I also fell in love with the design of the car, which when it first came out was pretty unique.

    Ah, ok... I thought they were "different" when they came out. But for me, being different sometimes isn't a good thing

    the 7 met an untimely demise with a tree, the TA I bought with about 64000 miles on it and had it for 5 years, put alot into it, it was my first car. I dont have any digital pics unfortunatly or i would share one. anyway eventually I sold it. the 240 hit a curb on the taconic (a local parkway) and it planted the front drives wheel half into the engine compartment. not worth fixing on a '89. The 7 was my favorite.

    What year was the 7? Hope it wasn't an FD... the rest I could care less about (we have 1 in my neighborhood and it runs around w/o an exhaust on like 8000rpms at midnight )

    actually it was a 2ed gen and it was injected, but no it was not a 3ed gen (93-96)
