Note the title: "Who's got the oldest car WITH a PC?"
Meaning a running and working system.
So were are we at? 85 Porche, is that a working PC?

I heard trackball keep on reacting to street bumps and are annoying.

My second project is a '88 Renault Master Van that will receive a special treatment, including a motherboard screwed to the roof above the driver's and passenger's seats+ 10" tft etc...
Model T with a radio? No, don't think so.
I had a trackball (in my Passport), had it in one place, pointer didn't move....then I put it in a "better" location, pointer was all over the place. Depends on where you mount it , I guess.

I wish I could say the truckputer was working in my 1957 Ford panel truck.
But it isn't... I have driven the truck with a laptop on the seat running from an inverter, though.
it's getting closer, though: I recently scored a 3.5" form-factor SBC (Geode CPU with sound and TV-out too), which altered my plans yet again. I got the last parts needed for the power supply (MC34166 switching regulator for 3A at 5V: see the Motorola data sheet.), which was the main holdup.
ahh...but who is the oldest in thier car?Originally Posted by Scouse Monkey
