HAHA...she wants the T/A more then me...but there's something I want more then her too. I want the T/A instead of the Evolution because instead of paying 600 on a car payment and 300 on insurance, I'm gonna be paying 238 on the car payment and 230 on the insurance. And that leaves me with alot of extra money. So I want to get a 2 bedroom place...a very big one, and spend around 600 a month for it. She thinks we should just get a 1 bedroom and turn the dining room into a computer room. But I dont want that. If we get a house, this is what were going to be living in for a very long time, atleast until we build our house that were going to retire in. I want a 2 bedroom so I can have a computer room, dining, room, living room, kitchen, and nothing be cramped.

BTW, Right now my girl works for Whataburger, but my brother pretty much got her a job at Pep Boys as a cashier. She's going to school full time, so she only brings in about 400 a month. But she insists on taking care of paying for groceries, since I'm gonna be paying the mortgage, the new car, and buying us really nice furniture n stuff like that.

MMMmmm... speaking of grey areas, are you familiar with what you are talking about? Consumer Reports IS in fact people's opinions. That's what they are based on, they collect OPINIONS from the CONSUMERS (that's people in common folk language) and then they publish it. So... you either trust people's opinion or you don't, gonna have to make up your opinion there.
Then what about J.D. Power ratings? That's one of the most coveted ratings by the car manufacturers, they always put it in their ads, are you saying that is not valid either? They are mostly in line with what Consumer Reports say.

You complain about lack of positive feedback... well, have you ever heard of GIGO? That's Garbage In, Garbage Out, what you put in is what you get out. You claim to have an auto shop, yet you have no credit cards or credit lines... and then somehow after getting out of the autoshop business, you have no cash leftover? How does that work? You say you have no debts, so then when you get out of business, you should get a bunch of cash back...

I am thinking I am going to go with Wizard here in hitting my head on the wall

If you want solid advise on building credit, look online, there are numerous websites that tell you how to do it. I've been following some of the advise I found and with my credit cards alone I can buy the Evo you so want (not that I am going to). And I am not even out of college yet... or have a "high paying" job of $13/hour... Now that was my useful input for you.

Then she has time to help you spend your money wisely. That is a good girl if she does. If she just spends your money foolishly i wouldnt get married to her. N e ways... When looking for a home take your time. Look to see where it is located and to see what the % increase will be on the home in that area. Like they say ya have to spend mone to make money. There are some times that you will not have to. There are many way to go about buying a property. If ya have a few K saved up or perhaps help from your family... look into HUD homes or something that you can make money off of when you leave. Or perhaps when you are not even living there.

Great credit rating is not the only thing you need, that thing called... err... umm.... income also help So he might have a "720" rating, but if he makes $100 a month in pocket money, he won't get a load for anything better than a 77 honda civic

1st, its not an actual buisness. Its a personal small buisness. I have a buy in with a very profitable company and I sell a few performance parts here and there, I get some people who send thier car to me to have work done to..so I make a little bit of money there. I have NO advertising, and SEVERE competition. I get about 2 people a day calling me up asking me about things, and half of them buy parts from me or have me do something to thier car. So I'm not making that much money. If I were to invest severely into it and play my cards right, I could build a really big performance shop. Right now all it is, is side income...hobby job pretty much. I do it on my spare time. I save everyone I sell to a butt load of money, and I build a name for myself...and make a few bucks every now and then. Sometimes I dont even make money off of a sale, just because I'm determined to help the person out and save him money.
