    Unhappy I'm all shook up.

And hate it. I got hit in the head last year december during training for my sport. After the hit to the head i temporarily (about a minute or so) lost my hearing and the feeling in my skin on the right side of the head. Didn't pay any attention to it though cause it went back to normal quite fast. The next day i was feeling really tired and had a hard time focussing on anything. But this also went away and i was feeling quite better. Didn't train for about 2 weeks till i felt complety rested and fine. So i thought all is well, which at that point it was. But a few weeks ago i bumped my head while i was working on my car, installing new speakers in the back. And again it didn't seem that hard. This time it didn't have the same effects as the first one so all i had was a bruise. But since then i have got a headache almost constantly, feel like i could throw up at any moment and am dizzy a lot. To top that off i'm also tired a lot and have a hard time concentrating.

So after about 2 weeks now i decided to go the doctor, who told me i might be suffering from results of a concussion and i might have underestimated the hits to my head. After doing some tests to see as how serious it was he told i could work but that i should avoid everything that could affect my head in a way that it gets shaken up again. I have to go see him again in about a month to see how i'm doing. He said the being tired part could be caused by something else so i had to give blood for a blood test. Haven't got the results
    of that back yet though.

So this means no martial arts training for me for now. And i probably should stop powerkiting and kitejumping as well. So basicly almost everything i like doing i'm not allowed to do for now. At least i got my CarPC finished though. I probably can use the time of to complete the website for my carpc though. Maybe then i can finally post my car and carpc in the "Show off your project" section.

Dude - I really hope it isn't anything serious. You have certainly chosen some sports that ae pretty hard on your body - have you had any other head injuries through them - might be worth bringing up with your doc. Don't let up on the doc either - make sure you get tests done ASAP. I had a lump somewhere and ended up arranging my own scan as i was just about to do my finals and didnt want to wait a week.

Take it easy and don't risk banging your head.

Nope, never had head injuries before. Mostly bruises from training with the guys that are at a much higher level than me. I've had a broken finger, broken toe. And last year januari i had a knee operation.

I feel for ya. Ive done the same thing a few times. Had cat scans and all that stuff. Lost my eye sight for a few days and didnt know where i was at. Take it easy as long as you possibly can stand it. I didnt wait that long and im prob paying for it now. Prob why im the dimwit i am today lol. What ever the doctor says do it!

Hope ya get better. Oh if you do it again...do not go to sleep. Take short naps with someone watching. We dont want ya to die on us.

i really hope it isnt anything serious... last year my friend got his head stuck between a van door and a garage wall... he was tell his brother (who was driving) that he was a dick, the brother didnt watch when he put it in reverse. and backed out while his head was in the door. The sheetmetal of the door atually gave away instead of his cranium could have been beheaded, but instead got a concussion.

Me, my worst problem is a re-occuring ingrown toenail on my right big toe

You're too hard on your body. Try chess. I've broken every finger and toe atleast once. Never a major bone. I'm more of a cut myself open and go get stiches type.... 75 at one sitting was my best.
