Thread: Webcam motion detection software....???

I just got a cheap USB webcam from Fry's, and i want to rig it up to record the hallway outside my door, but i only want it to come on and record when there is motion. I got a program (ConquerCam i think), which can do motion detection, but it just keeps writing the same AVI over and over again, so myself coming in the door will be the last video everytime i come home. Anyone know of any esay (free?) software i could use to record when there is motion and log each recording as a different file?
