thats pretty cool, but i should kick you for the bloody shirt.
Nice! Seems we've got the same idea..
I've got one of those RC Hummers sitting around I was planning to do the same thing with and I'll tell you why in a second, but let me digress with this story first.
My friend's mom and her husband collect antiques, and after my buddy went off to college a few years ago, his mother and her husband moved to an old farmhouse in CT, which was built in the 1700s - between the old house and all the antiques, you could say the live in a museum.
In any case, the house is haunted. Quit laughing, I know every old house is "haunted", but I'm serious, I've witnessed it first-hand. I was standing in the dining room area - which is adjacent to two rooms, the living room, and the den - and noone was in that part of the house except myself, and I saw a shadow from a person move across the floor from the den into the living room. I called out to see who was there, but like I said, everyone was elsewhere in the house.
Ok, big deal you say - well there's more to it. At times they hear girls' laughter in the house. Other times they hear music playing, and it is impossible for anyone to tell where it's coming from.
But probably the weirdest thing happened to the husband one night when he was watching TV in the living room. The living room is adjacent to the den, and there is a door that connects the two rooms. Well it's one of those ancient doors that doesn't close all the way - between the warping of the wooden door, and the doorframe being skewed because of the settling of the old house - you couldn't get it to close all the way if you tried your hardest, it just won't close into the frame. Anyway, he was sitting there watching TV and all of a sudden the door behind him slammed shut so violently that it actually closed fully into the door frame. BTW - this doorway/passage, is where I saw the shadow moving towards.
Anyway, between what they've told me and what I witnessed, I'm quite convinced that there's something funky going on in that house.
So here's where the RC Hummer/camera comes into play: in the basement of the house, there is an opening of a tunnel and noone knows where it goes, other than that it goes somewhere. It's quite narrow to fit into (if I lost some weight I could probably fit), but even so I wouldn't want the damn thing to collapse on me, so I'd like to send a camera instead.
One day when my buddy comes back from Chicago we'll stop building potato cannons and finally figure out where that damn tunnel goes..
hehe those are the best.Originally Posted by tj!2k4

Dude, I've seen that show and I am soooo not impressed with TAPS, as a matter of fact a fkin hate them.. lol I think I could do a better job myself,
I've asked his mom about having some people come in and check it out, but she doesn't want to upset anything. She thinks audble stuff is just "memories" and she's not concerned about any evil, since she hears the girls' laughter.
a friend of mine lived in an old house in downtown frederick, built in the early/mid 1800s. The basement is awesome looking, very creepy. From the main floor you can see through the floor boards down to the basement. Well anyway...the basement which is comprised of this orange dirt, had all sorts of small tunnels running through them. I got drunk once and decided to crawl back in those tunnels to see what was back there.
In my findings I found a lot of rat poison which I would say looks like its been there for a good 60-70 years...also i found access points for pipes.
Unrelated to the tunnels, in the basement of MY house(not that old, built in the late 70s), I saw a shadow much like the one you described. I was about 12 at the time, and I was with my best friend Matt. He saw it too.......he will never go in my basement again.

I don't know if you have to be predispositioned in order to experience supernatural stuff, but here's another incident.
My parents' house had central heat/ac, and you could always kinda hear stuff though the ductwork, eg from the basement all the way up to the second story. Anyway, a couple of days after my mother passed away I had to go to the house to return some legal documents to the safe in the basement. As I was putting them away, I heard my mother's voice, in the same weakened state that she had been in prior to hear death, with her accent, through the duct, as if she were in her bed two floors above, call to me, "David, those papers don't belong there."
I'm gonna be honest, it was my mother and all, but it still freaked me out. Maybe because we didn't have a great relationship while she was alive. Fortunately I was living out of the house in an apartment and didn't have to stay in the house. We ended up selling the house. Sometimes I wonder as to what experiences the people who bought it will have, and whether it'll be a happy home for them.
30,000 hits in 10 hours, btw.
